The Glory Refuge Church is dedicated to fulfilling the words of Jesus who said,

“I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.” Matt 25:36

Each week, those in prison are visited, and hope comes to those who were without hope. The Gospel is preached with power to the outcast. The broken are mended and the brokenhearted receive peace. All of this reflects the purpose of Jesus in his Messianic task;

And when He (Jesus) had opened the book, He found the place where it was written;

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,” Luke 4:17-19.

In as much as humanity reflects the Divine Image, being made in the image of God, loving humanity is tantamount to loving God.

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. 1 John 4:20-21.

The Glory Refuge Church practices such love as an expression of God’s love for humanity.
